Chester Chest™ with a new advanced arm, which can be ordered separately to upgrade your existing Chester Chest™! Chester Chest™ is an unparalleled teaching aid that provides the perfect opportunity to learn how to use the following durable vascular access devices:

• Implanted port

• Central venous catheter (CVC)

• Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC)

The arm is equipped with a 5FR double-lumen PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) protruding from the basilic vein, which is currently the most common placement site. In the area of the catheter insertion site, there is a recess for the application of a peripheral port (optional port shown but not included). An additional feature of the simulator is a 20-g IV needle in the forearm. Compared to the previous model, this new model offers a greater range of rotation and extension and can be used to practice cleaning, applying dressings and fixation devices, infusion, and fluid withdrawal.

The right thoracic cavity is already equipped with a functional central venous catheter. Catheters can also be inserted into the external jugular vein and the subclavian vein through the appropriate openings.

The left chest features an implanted port. Using the various tissue flaps provided, it is possible to simulate difficult access scenarios: deep, inverted, slippery, or unstable ports.

Chester Chest™ can be used in the upright or supine position.
